Chapter Seven
Ten Days Later . . .
Jenna woke up from the most erotic dream sheâd had in a long time to find her hands between her legs, perilously close to a climax. In her mind, it was Cade stroking her clit and fucking her with his fingers. His tongue lapped at her distended nipple sending bolts of electricity to her core. Squirming, Jenna moaned the manâs name as if it were a prayer. She could hear his response as he told her he wanted everything she could give him. Come for me, Jenna.
The orgasm hit her hard, practically blinding her as wave after wave tumbled over her. âOh, God! Yes!â Her legs shook with the impact, until the sensations coursing through her body began to ebb.
Gulping for air, she let her limbs go lax. When she opened her eyes, she wasnât surprised to see Dudley sitting next to the bed, staring at her curiously. Usually if she was going to get herself off, she shut him out of the bedroom because it felt odd doing it while he was watching. She wasnât sure if it was because he was a dog or a male, but either way, it was weird. âHope you enjoyed the show, Dud, because you wonât be getting another one for a long time.â
The dogâs tail thumped on the floor in response before he gave a hopeful woof.
Jenna laughed as she glanced at the bedside clock. 6:00 a.m. âAll right, all right. Iâll feed you fifteen minutes early. Just donât get used to it. I need all the beauty sleep I can get. Especially if Iâm going to see Cade this afternoon.â
âWoof.â Dudley danced around the room as Jenna tossed aside the bed covers and stood, ready to start the day.
Thirty minutes later, the dog had been fed and Jenna had finished drying her hair. Putting on some makeup, she wasnât sure why she was even bothering. It wasnât as if Cade would be interested in her. In fact, she wasnât sure she wanted him to be after seeing how those skinny, pretty bimbos practically threw themselves at him last week at the pizzeria and hearing how it happened all the time. Of course it did. He was single, nice, employed, and a hunk of drool-worthy proportions. But the sad fact was she did want him, but heâd been nothing but polite to her these past few weeks. There had been a few times sheâd thought he was flirting with her, but then he seemed to back off. He probably flirted with women all the time and didnât want Jenna to get the impression he wanted her or anything.
After dressing and gathering her things, she wished Dudley a good day and headed for her car. Suddenly, she remembered she hadnât grabbed her mail last night and walked to the box at the end of the drive to retrieve it. Once she was settled in the driverâs seat of the Altima, she took a moment to shuffle through the bills and junk mail.
